  • Where to Stay: You can stay 1.5km from the Oeschinen gondola station at the Berghotel Oeschinensee. There are after many options in nearby Kanderstag like  Landgasthof Rüdihus or Belle Epoque Hotel Victoria. Camping is also available.

  • How to Get There: You can take two train from Interlaken and the journey takes about 1.5 hours. From Zurich it takes about 2.5 hours to get to Kanderstag by car or train. From Kanderstag, you can take the cable car up to the Oeschinen cable car station. 

  • Don’t Forget: Be sure to get a Swiss Travel Pass ahead of time. The Travel Swiss pass is a comprehensive ticket that allows unlimited travel on Swiss Travel System’s network, including trains, buses, boats, and even some mountain railways. It offers travelers the flexibility to explore Switzerland at their own pace.
